b'Don came back from the Lakes last week and had to go straight out to Anglesey to sort my caravan out ready to be stored for the winter\\u2026.stayed a few days and the weather was fabulous\\u2026.23 degrees and clear blue skies\\u2026went for a walk along Rhosneigr beach and never saw a soul\\u2026.there was no wind and there was absolute silence except for the breaking waves\\u2026doesn\\u2019t get any better than that.\\nSo it\\u2019s bye bye to the Island til next April\\u2026.but I do love Autumn\\u2026my favourite season. \\n\\nA bit of sad news\\u2026Jackie Lomax (ex Undertakers) has recently died\\u2026..Jackie moved to America and worked with George Harrison and many top bands\\u2026he was great guy and each time he came over from the States he would appear at our weekly Cheshire Cats bash with Geoff Nugent and Brian \\u201cSaxophone\\u201d Jones\\u2026.he went to our school and was a great lad\\u2026he\\u2019ll be sadly missed.\\n\\nAlso another local musician has also passed on\\u2026Tommy Hughes who was the original singer in The Swinging Blue Jeans\\u2026.and was one of The Kansas City Five\\u2026.he was a good pal of mine and a true gent\\u2026.he was a great keyboard player and has played in many bands over the years\\u2026I\\u2019ve worked with him on many occasions\\u2026.these guys are irreplaceable. \\n\\nOn a lighter note\\u2026Mr.Milliband has been wandering around with a fixed grin on his face pretending to be one of the lads and has announce if Labour get in next time he is going to freeze energy bills\\u2026.I don\\u2019t know who writes his script but you can freeze your own bills on several deals with suppliers TODAY\\u2026.so I haven\\u2019t quite worked out what he\\u2019s on about\\u2026..and Eric Pickles has stepped away from the pies for a few minutes to announce that CCTV parking cameras will no longer be used\\u2026the fact these make millions for local councils doesn\\u2019t seem to come into it\\u2026.\\u201dit\\u2019s interfering with human rights\\u201d\\u2026so let\\u2019s all park anywhere and gridlock the country\\u2026get back to the buffet Eric. \\n\\nThe Firemen have had a short strike over pay and pensions\\u2026they are now expected to work until they are sixty to receive a full pension\\u2026.I think their salary is 29 grand on average,,,how much are those back benchers on again?..seventy grand?.....and who would you rather have in a crisis\\u2026.quite\\u2026..not to mention the soldiers.\\n\\nBrian McFadden is on tele a lot (he\\u2019s in a programme called \\u201cStepping Out\\u201d which is a rip off of Strictly Come Dancing\\u2026except the celebs dance with their real life partners)\\u2026now I\\u2019m not a fan of boy bands\\u2026Boyzone only had one singer \\u2013 Steven Gately- and he died\\u2026I wouldn\\u2019t pay the rest of them in washers\\u2026similarly Westlife only have one singer \\u2013 the gay guy \\u2026 BUT I do have a lot of time for McFadden\\u2026he made a few good records on his own AND can play\\u2026.he recorded an incredibly brave song before he went to Australia called \\u201cIrish Son\\u201d which heavily criticizes his vicious Catholic upbringing\\u2026I have a lot o f respect for the lad.'
