In gaming, August brings Fall Guys and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered to Playstation Plus, while Xbox gets Portal Knight, Override: Mech City Brawl, MX Unleashed, and Red Faction 2 for Games with Gold. Battletoads finds an August release date for Xbox and Game Pass simplifies it's branding for gamers. Cuphead surprises everyone with a Playstation 4 release, but no word on the delayed dlc called The Delicious Last Course. Phil Spencer hints at more backwards compatibility information this month and maybe we get news on the rumored Xbox Series S. Blizzard corrects a mistake on the release of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Did you hear the news about Hawkeye in the new Marvel's Avengers game? It doesn't sound like he did either! Nintendo gets their secrets of abandoned game concepts leaked on the internet. Halo Infinite goes free to play for the multiplayer, but people aren't too thrilled about the graphic so far. The creators of Bulletstorm, People Can Fly, are hard at work on a new untitled AAA game. CD Projekt Red has to inform the public of a Cyberpunk 2077 scam that they have no part of. Clowns became victorious in the Red Read Online community with a new update called The Naturalist. Game Informer revealed fine print that the next Marvel's Spider-man Miles Morales game may come with a remastered version of the PS4 game, Marvel's Spider-man. Sounds like an "expansion" was an accurate statement after all and we should probably expect a full price tag, but we will see. Finally, We give our early impressions on Grounded, a survival game on Xbox and PC, as well as our review on Carrion, a metroidvania style survival horror game.
