Welcome to Dissecting This Fiction! It's episode 29, so come join along as Co-hosts Jessica and Steven go over the latest in movies, tv shows, and games.

What's On The Exam Table?

In gaming, Sony keeps players entertained during the quarantine, while denying the existence of PC ports. Nintendo gets a few unexpected titles to add to the Switch library. Gamescom keeps shit direct with an update for attendees. Facebook gets into the streaming ring. Lastely, Jessica played some Fallout 4 before it leaves Game Pass.

In TV, a bunch of services are giving out free trials. Quibi might try to get a lot bigger. HBO Max gets a few new shows to build up it's hype. Disney is now making shows about shows for Disney Plus. Netflix is taking over the streaming war...maybe? A channel nobody watches cancelled a show that nobody knew about. Steven talks about On Becoming a God in Central Florida on Showtime and Party Monster on Netflix, while Jessica shares her thoughts on a documentary about Betty White and You...the show, not YOU. In trailers, we talk about some trailers for NBC Peacock shows and the new trailer for Capone.

In movies, Artemis Fowl gets a release date, but not in theaters. San Diego Comic Con regroups for a 2021 convention. Theaters may be reopening, but is it too soon. Probably! Sam Raimi just might have confirmed he's directing Doctor Strange 2!? Dune gets some new set photos and there's a lot of actors. Finally, we talk about a low tier science fiction movie called Beyond White Space. It's basically Moby Dick in Space...
