In gaming,  Nintendo celebrates Mario's 35th Anniversary with a bunch of announcements including Super Mario 3D All Stars, Mario Kart Live Home Circuit, and Super Mario Bros 35. Plus the eShop gets a few changes. Ubisoft reveals info that could suggest Playstation 5 won't be backwards compatible. UFC 4 "ads" an update. Xbox and Resident Evil 8 will be at The Tokyo Game Show 2020. 

In TV and movie news, September comes with a huge list of new shows and movies to watch on our favorite streaming services. Ray Fisher and WB Pictures go to war on social media over the drama of Justice Leagues filming. Twitch adds a Watch Party feature for Amazon Prime users. Shenmue, a popular Sega franchise gets an anime on Crunchyroll and Adult Swim. X-files returns with an animated show called X-files Albuquerque. Sony is planning a live-action Spider-man spinoff starring Silk. Anna Faris leaves motherhood on her CBS show, Mom. Netflix now offers a free to watch library for non-customers. The Mandalorian season 2 finally has a release date and it is not so far, far way. Star Trek Discovery diversifies its cast. The Batman halts production again after a case of corona virus shows up on set.
