What makes a church the Church? You might have to read that again. What makes "a church" "the Church"?  It's no secret that churches are hubs for community life, but what makes an institution 'the Church'? Most of us would agree it is important to be connected with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Most of us would agree that it is important for every believer to be connected to the rest of the body aka church.  I guess the awkward question we are asking and discussing in today is what makes the local church personification of the Church that Jesus set out to establish?
