February is the month when we Americans celebrate Presidents. And what better backdrop is there to do so than Disneyland, USA. In Walt Disneys classic opening day speech, he said, "Here age relives fond memories of the past...and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America." Because Walt was so patriotic, we received a treasure at the park in July 1965: Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. This show embodies the inspiration and hope for the future Walt described.
Now, Mr. Lincoln has returned to the Main Street Opera House and is better than ever! In this episode, were proud to feature this return as seen through the eyes of one of the original Imagineers, Bob Gurr, who helped Walt realize his vision.
