In 1996, Joe D. Martin, Jr., was charged, tried, and convicted for the December 1995 murder of a 12-year-old boy, Jerimayer Warfield, in Nashville, Tennessee, in a drive-by shooting. Not only is Joe innocent, he did not even know his co-defendants. Joe received a sentence of life in prison (51 years) + 20 years for crimes he did not commit.

In season one, we will take a deep look into The Joe D. Martin Story: No Ordinary Joe. We will unpack the crime, the investigation, the trial, and answer questions and discuss theories from our listeners.

We invite you not only to listen, but to take action by signing his petition (www.thejoedmartinstory.org) and becoming actively involved in Criminal Justice Reform. You will be able to read the case file for yourself and submit your questions and theories and help to free Joe from his wrongful imprisionment!
