Scott started the Sheboygan area Pay it forward group on Facebook.  In 2 month he has almost 2 thousand members and together they have been serving the homeless and needy in the Sheboygan Wisconsin area.  Scotts story started in Michigan where he grew up with his family in a small town.  Drawn to music Scott pursued his dreams.  Scott started a family early and put his music career on hold for the love of family.  Eventually Scott went to college to become a elementary teacher and found his way back to music.  Scott took on the responsibility for the sake of his family his angel of a grand daughter Madeline, who was born missing a part of her brain and other challenging developmental conditions.  Scott and his wife Kathleen opened their hearts and their homes to care for Madeline.  In doing so Scott and Kathleen almost lost their home due to the financial and travel burdens of caring for Madeline and need for frequent children's hospital visits for her several several conditions.   Through the help of strangers the LaBontes made it through this tough time only to want to give back when they could.  That day finally came and Scott decided to start the Sheboygan area Pay it forward group.  This group has gotten local and state wide coverage as it has grown quickly and has already made a difference in their community by donating and hanging items to keep people warm this winter.  Scott and his wife have done most of the work themselves but are looking for help as they continue their initiative.
