The Future of Web Archiving

July 23, 2014. The web is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2014, and although more organizations than ever are preserving web content, preservation of and access to archived content remains challenging on many fronts. This panel provided an opportunity to reflect not only where we are today, but the future of web archiving, featuring brief presentations by experts working in the field. Presenters included Stephen Abrams (California Digital Library), Martin Klein (Los Alamos National Laboratory), Jimmy Lin (University of Maryland) and Michael Nelson (Old Dominion University).
