DMT 174: Echo Nest and Spotify, Pono, MILK + interviews with Spotify and OpenAur

A live show! Digital Music Trends 174 was recorded live at SXSW 2014 with Brian Zisk (SFMusicTech), Jim Carroll (Irish Times) and Kevin Breuner (CD Baby). We chat about Spotify's acquisition of the Echo Nest, Neil Young launching the Pono as a Kickstarter, Samsung launching MILK and Balcony.tv’s acquisition by The Orchard. At the end of the show I added two interviews recorded here at SXSW, one with Sachin Doshi, Spotify’s head of development and analysis, and one with Kevin Arnold, founder of OpenAura.

DMT's March coverage is brought to you by Omnifone and MusicGraph, we thank them for their support of the show, it would not be happening without them so go and check them out.

I really hope you enjoy this week’s show and check out all the coverage of SXSW on sxsw.digitalmusictrends.com. Have a great week and ‘till next time!
