Today I speak with a man who has VAST experience telling true crime stories. Not just any true crime stories- the ones we all know and...love? Hate to love? Love to hate? It depends on who you are, I suppose. Matt Sprouse is a TV Producer who led Jupiter Entertainment's programming for years, but is out on his own now. He was always looking for ways to tell these headline stories in the most human, respectful, yet compelling ways. I know you will love today's conversation because we get some inside scoop on these major cases, but also because we transcend that to tackle the larger issues that many of us wrestle with as we consume true crime. Also, Matt surprised me with a personal connection to a high profile case that shaped how he approached true crime. ( hint: it caused him to AVOID it for a long time) Listen to find out which story.
