Overview:  Today\\u2019s podcast is a tribute to the Golden Horseshoe which begat the Diamond Horseshoe at WDW which begat the Tokyo Disneyland version of the Golden Horseshoe. I talk about it\\u2019s history, what Walt created, and Disney Legends Betty Taylor (aka Slu Foot Sue) and Wally Boag (aka Pecos Bill).

\\nNotes: I find it intriguing how much Walt loved the old west and included many elements at DisneyLand.

I wanted to point out that while it\\u2019s clearly a \\u201csaloon\\u201d and modeled as such, Walt was careful to have Slu Foot Sue refer to it as a \\u201ccafe\\u201d
