After New Zealand suffered the Christchurch mosque shootings on March 15th, Dark Dark World received some criticism for the release of Episode 8: Jan Molenaar & the Napier Siege. Some felt that it was insensitive to leave the the episode on the show's feed given that the episode dealt with gun violence in New Zealand. In this special edition of DDW, Jordan explains his decision to leave Episode 8 on the feed and is joined by the New Zealand True Crime Addict, Jonathon Godinet, to discuss the merits of keeping the episode available. Jonathon also talks about his family's experiences in the wake of the Christchurch mosque shootings and discusses with Jordan the new firearms legislation brought about by Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister of New Zealand.
