Today I welcome Steve Green on the podcast. Steve is one of my best mates and we have shared a lot of good memories together in Cape Town, often living life on the edge of disaster!
But most of those days (besides swimming out to sea a couple of years ago on a windy day with goggles that don’t work and almost getting swept away by the currents) are gone and Steve is now a responsible citizen (mostly). He has 3 daughters, lives in the UK with dual citizenship of the USA.
We discuss some very interesting topics such as:
- Experimenting with our body and our life
- Losing a job and dealing with the loss when you are used to being successful
- Raising our kids in a chaotic world where emotions are running rife
- Media frenzy and how to guide our kids through this
- The wonder of diversity
- Blaming others for our failures and lack
- Allowing kids to make mistakes, not being overprotective in the wrong areas and not paying attention where it is important to.
- How we made memories by living a bit dangerously in our early twenties and encouraging our kids to get outside and live.
