My guest on the podcast today is Tim Wright. Tim is an ordained Lutheran minister since 1984, author of numerous books on parenting and co-host of the Wonder of Parenting Podcast. Tim talks about how many boys are becoming “Lost” in the Twenty-first Century, and the statistics confirm his perspective: 70% of all Ds and Fs are achieved by boys,  85% of stimulant-addressing medications prescribed in the world are prescribed to US boys and the stark reality that boys are falling behind girls in virtually every area of life.

Tim and I discuss how science can show us the way we should raise our boys and how we can and should still cater to them in our schools and society in general. In the time of #metoo and #toxic masculinity, it is essential that we recognise the best in our boys and help them become the strong, courageous and loving men they are capable of being.
