#40 | BRANDON LILLY | How to stop living with a deficit mindset

“If whining and crying were part of the solution, the world would be perfect.”

These are the sentiments of my guest on the podcast today. 

Brandon Lilly is the author of "The Cube Method", and "365STRONG", and he is also ranked as one of the strongest powerlifters of All-Time. He is the host of the Be Legendary Podcast and works closely with his good friend Bert Sorin at Sorinex Exercise equipment. Throughout his career, he has worked with a wide range of professional sportsmen and women as a coach and consultant, from the NFL to the SEAL TEAMS.

As you can tell, Brandon is no stranger to success, but he has also faced his share of adversity. It ultimately threatened to destroy him, but he has since used as fuel to rise again and again to be stronger, not only in a physical sense as was his claim to fame, but emotionally, mentally, spiritually and by finding his tribe and purpose in life as a friend and a father.

It is clear from our conversation that Brandon recognises the significance that being a father plays in his life and that if success that doesn’t align with his ability to serve his family and others, it is of little worth.
