Today we are joined by Dott. Antonio Squillante, CSCS *D to discuss rate of force development and it\u2019s impact on athlete performance. After a brief intro Antonio jumps right in and breaks down what RFD is, and why it\u2019s important. He next discusses some of the limitations of it as well, and how coaches may be a bit too focused on this one aspect of training, what evaluations he uses with his athletes at different levels, and how those evaluations impact the training programs of his athletes including what correlations he sees with the training programs and actual running speed.
