Jason Hanasik is an award-winning filmmaker, artist, and journalist. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian\\u2019s National Portrait Gallery, screened at various international film festivals, presented on stage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Ace Theater in LA as well as featured on the BBC.
\\nHis photography monograph, I Slowly Watched Him Disappear, is in the research collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA NYC, and The New York Public Library\\u2019s Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem. He has a Master of Journalism from UC Berkeley, a Master of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts, and has taught at both schools.
