The interview uncovered Egerton’s top picks for the Women in Horror Month Challenge—with his vote for categories including icons, the next generation, maneaters, and divas, plus a nod to women behind the camera: writers, effects artists, and directors.

Note: I misspoke and called the name of the ship in the original Alien (1979) "Mother" during our discussion of the maneaters category. I was referring to the ship's CPU, not the actual ship name, which is Nostromo.
