For the past week, Chile has been declared to be in a state of emergency; with many cities having military enforced curfews, as the Chilean public protest the unjust system they are living in.
This is my first solo episode - I give background history on chile, as well as what it has been like to experience it; being an Australian that called Santiago (where this all started) my home for 4 months, to just 2 weeks ago moving south; over 1,000kms to the quiet island of Chile.
I talk about my experience being here, what events were happening before and look at possible reasons why.
Tune in as I discuss how I used social media to get a more full view of what is happening; knowing the TV only gives obvious, one-sided views.
Also, I'll be discussing learning about local peaceful marches and how and why I have gotten involved.
What is happening next?
