Camp Scott in Locust Grove, Oklahoma had been a camp for Girl Scouts since 1928. In June 1977, the camp welcomed over 130 Girl Scouts and Brownies for its first two-week session. Tragedy struck when counselors discovered that three young girls from tent #8 had been brutally murdered.
