On February 23, 2022, in the early morning hours, Tara Pakanich was sleeping at her home in Green Bay, Wisconsin, when suddenly, she heard a slam from the storm door. Tara wasn\'t too worried because she thought it might be her son\'s friend, Taylor Schabusiness, leaving. She got out of bed and noticed that the basement light was on. Curious, she decided to go downstairs to see if her son, 24 year old Shad Thyrion, was still there or if he had left with Taylor. Upon reaching the basement, Tara searched for Shad but couldn\'t find him. Just as she was about to return upstairs, something unusual caught her eye - a black five-gallon bucket placed on the floor right next to the staircase, concealed by a towel. Tara lifted the towel, and what she discovered was beyond anything she could have ever expected. It was her son\\u2019s severed head.
