Episode 15 True Crime: "The Walk of Death" and the Rowe Family Murders

Published: May 22, 2020, 6:30 p.m.

This week is pretty heavy, not gonna lie. We’ve got content warnings for both of these stories (both have child victims).

Danielle covers “The Walk of Death” case - it’s the first mass shooting event in American history where 13 people were murdered. Megan covers the murders of the Rowe family: Mary, Bobby, Christopher, and Jennifer. The book that Megan mentions, “Facing the Wind” by Julie Salaman is available on Amazon, and the first chapter is available online here.

This episode is based on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart Week 5 finale where the LTYH couples headed to Nashville for their finale performances. Taye Diggs and Rita Wilson served as judges for the performances- and both stories discussed are somehow tied to them. (The first story starts at 5:34 and the second story starts at 57:08).
