b'Good morning! I want to extend a warm and special welcome to our friends from 2nd Baptist Church, Temple of Faith Gospel Church as well as all our wonderful Creeskiders for joining with us today! It is a great privilege and joy to join with Pastor Keith and Pastor Woodrow as we bring our churches together on this Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. Someone said, “The most segregated hour in America is Sunday morning.” Our hearts are to build relational bridges that transcend any and all color barriers, denominational walls, cultural concerns, or church competitiveness.

All too often the church is known for what it is against and what divides it against other churches and the world. We want to make a clear statement that we stand united with one another in what we are for and in our common ground in Christ Jesus. In essence, we want to color our community with unity. As we do this, we begin to answer Jesus’ prayer in John 17 where He prayed for the unity of His followers.

My friends Pastor Keith and his bride Sandra, need no introduction to Creekside as they have been with us before. It is my joy to introduce a newer friend, Pastor Woodrow and his bride Shirley to you today. As we do church together today, our prayer is that new bonds of unity would be built. Jesus would be glorified and the world would know the Father sent the Son because of our oneness. Let’s welcome our friends! Let’s celebrate our unity within our diversity! Let’s laugh, learn and grow together in Jesus!'
