An Absolute Labyrinth of Terror (w/ Erin Keif)

Published: Sept. 9, 2020, 9 a.m.

TW: trichtotillamania, ADHD, PTSD, suicide, anxiety, gun violence, self harm, dissociation

Karlie kicks off this episode with a deranged discussion (is it a discussion if you’re completely alone???) of the new Charlie Kaufman flick, I’m Thinking of Ending Things.

Then, Karlie speaks with improviser, comedian, and podcast host Erin Keif to talk about her mental health diagnosis. Erin has ADHD, trichotillomania, and PTSD, and oh boy does she handle all of them with incredible fortitude! Erin talks about feeling isolated during the pandemic, how having a dog fixes (almost) everything, and how non-tradtional therapy helps her cope. Later on, Karlie and Erin cover gun violence and how it has affected Erin’s mental health.
