This week on the podcast, for the third episode in a row, we opted to treat ourselves with another relatively recent gem of a movie, 2014’s darkly comic and thought provoking “Birdman Or (The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance)“. The largely one take camera style of the movie, the script, the fantastic acting and the interpretation of the title character were all picked apart at great length. 

 

In part 2, we discussed the best and worst Oscar winners throughout the years. Some movies get lauded with praise for good reason. Others favoured by the Academy remain a mystery.
