Episode #40: Sharknado / The Perfect Length For a Movie

Published: April 27, 2017, 10:38 p.m.

Last week we talked about a holocaust epic and while we were positively mesmerised and strongly impacted by Schindler's List, we struggled to make jokes during the film portion of the podcast - something which is understandable if slightly impractical for what is usually a comedy show. This week we went in the polar opposite direction and talked about Sharknado. Luckily, there was plenty to make fun of in this bloody stupid film. It was like shooting a proverbial fish in a barrel, in fact.

For part 2, we talked about the optimum length for a movie, with conclusions lying in the type of genre that the movie actually is - unless it's The Wolf of Wall Street, anything over 2 hours is generally a pretty bad idea for a comedy!

For the next episode, we're turning the clock back 10 years, so the question of the week is:

2007: what are your memories on it? The best/worst things to come from the year and any other 2007 related content welcome.
