What We Are Drinking This Week:

Joe:

Hold the Reins- English Mild
Brink Brewing – College Hill
ABV: 4.6%
IBU: 18

“This award-winning beer took home a GOLD medal from the 2017 Great American Beer Festival. English Mild is the original “session ale” while still full-flavored. Moderate sweetness, a bit nutty with a touch of caramel. Chocolate and roast notes give way to a dry finish.”

Caroline:

Rouchbier - Smoked Lager
West Side Brewing – Westwood
ABV: 6%
IBU: 25

“Chestnut in color, this lager leads with aromas of barbecue and campfire thanks to the use of barley smoked with beechwood. Underneath the smoke is a rich lager loaded with flavors of toasted bread and toffee sweetness. This beer is a great pairing with chili, seared meat, or anything coming off the grill.”
