Ep. 40 - The One With Krampus, Lights, Trains, and Other Cincinnati Christmas Traditions

Published: Dec. 16, 2021, 10 p.m.

In this week's episode of the Craft Parenting Podcast, Joe and Caroline discuss their favorite Cincinnati Christmas traditions including:

  • Krampus
  • The Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden
  • The train display at the Krohn Conservatory

Plus, Joe hijacks the what’s bugging Caroline in Children’s TV segment, he has a dad joke that will leave you nickel-less and Caroline has a special message to our friends at Shift Beers and Truth, Beer and Podsequences.

Caroline’s and Joe’s Drink:

Krampus Coal
West Side Brewing - Westwood, Ohio
Baltic style porter with whole vanilla beans
ABV: 7.8%
IBU: 39

“Black with a tan head, this Baltic-style Porter has rich aromas of chocolate and vanilla. The flavor is more of the same, with a slight note of roast rounding it out. Thanks to the addition of whole vanilla beans, a strong vanilla flavor carries throughout the beer as it finishes on the sweeter side with just enough hop bitterness to keep it from being cloying. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls club.”
