When the Children of Israel sinned against the Lord by worshiping the golden calf on Mount Sinai, Moses declared God's judgment and asked, "Who is on the Lord's side?" One out of 12 tribes stood on the Lord's side and because of their righteous stand, the tribe of Levi was separated unto the Lord for posterity in the house of God. The test of separation calls for us to make a choice to take a stand for God and do what is right. And we can only do so when we are consumed by the zeal of the Lord. The essence of zeal is rooted in the love of God, who Himself is a consuming fire. His love is like an intense fire that burns with jealousy. When we have the zeal of the Lord, we burn with jealousy for Him. God is looking for men and women who will burn with an intense zeal for Him in these last days where wickedness will abound.
