Christianity is an invitation with an RSVP attached to it. God, through Jesus, has sent a loving appeal to every person in the world. Though not everyone acknowledges it, they are offered the invitation nevertheless - an invitation to receive forgiveness from the past, new life for today and a fresh hope for the future.
