Matthew 13 contains seven parables called the "Parables of the Kingdom". These parables describe for us how the Kingdom of God functions, and at the same time, act as a checklist to help us align our lives according to the ways of God's Kingdom. This enables us to function effectively and to walk in a manner pleasing to the Lord.
