God transforms shapeless and hopeless lives and forms them into something beautiful and useful. Jeremiah had probably watched a potter work and skillfully produce from brokenness, vessels that were made to enrich the lives of all who saw the change and usefulness of a refashioned piece. The same is true when God takes a sinner headed for Hell, and turns them into a servant headed for Heaven. God takes the marred clay and molds our souls into actions with purpose, passion, and moves through the power of a changed life. Just like the whirling wheel of the potter, our lives revolve through circumstances and situations.
The greatest intention of the potter is not to discard flawed or fallen clay, but to continue to work it into something meaningful and useful. All the God of the universe asks is for us to allow Him to shape our lives according to His will. Because of His blood and forgiveness, repentance leads to refashioning. Allow the Potter to move, mold and make you into His image today!
