Dr. Amee Patrawalla is a pulmonologist specializing in critical care with a special focus on tuberculosis who worked through the initial surge of the pandemic in the North East of the United States in 2020.

Dr. Amee Patrawalla is a pulmonologist specializing in critical care with a special focus on tuberculosis. She is currently Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.  She completed her training in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center and Pulmonary/Critical Care at NYU Medical Center.  She holds a Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Master\\u2019s in Public Health from NYU.

Her main interests are in the care and management of patients with Tuberculosis, an infectious disease that most commonly affects the lungs and is spread from person to person via air; and medical education and in the advanced training of pulmonary and critical care fellows.  She enjoys working with medical students, residents and fellows and helping guide them in their careers.
