I talked to a real life hero today! His name is Staff Sargeant Sal Guinta. I was curious what kind of kid Sal was? What kind of kid signs up for the Army, what exactly did they say to make him want to join and; really, what I wanted to know is what kind of guy runs toward danger, when everyone else is running away from it? Sal Guinta is a very humble and simple guy who really doesn't believe he did anything extraordinary. We touched on war, Afghanistan, the real possibility of death, and facing your own mortality. I also asked him if he was familiar with the word impossible? His answer made me laugh.... This is a wonderful book for any soldier, former soldier, military enthusiast, or anyone who wants to read a hope filled book about a real life hero. A hero, whether he wants to be one or not. Sal is now a public speaker giving inspirational talks: www.WashingtonSpeakersOnline.com Get Sal's book at your local bookstore or online at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Living-Honor-Memoir-Sal-Giunta/dp/1451691467 Sal's Medal Of Honor Story: http://www.army.mil/medalofhonor/giunta/remarks.html
