I've had the pleasure of having some conversations with some pretty amazing people both famous and not. Today's conversation with Peter Engel ranks right up there in my Top 3. Peter was the Executive Producer for the wildly popular tv show Saved By The Bell (it was a little after my time). But I know all about it...Bayside High, Zack, Kelly, Screetch and Mr. Belding. It was an innovative TV show that covered a lot of different topics that hadn't been touched on tv before and for that Peter is very proud. He's written a new book entitled I Was Saved By The Bell: Stories Of Life, Love and Dreams That Do Come True. His memoir covers so much more than Saved By The Bell the television program...it's a wonderful story about Peter's life, people he has met, situations he has experienced as well as resilience, conviction, determination, life, love and believing in yourself and your dreams.
