KEITH ARMONAITIS, Renaissance Man, IT, Comedian, Actor, Screenwriter, Director and “Recognizing the Catalysts in Your Life,” Rutgers BA, ’90, Stevens Institute, MS, ‘01

Keith Armonaitis was born in Hoboken, NJ a stone's throw from NYC. He attended Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, studying in their BFA acting program. After graduation he plied his trade as an actor and stand-up comedian, and was invited to join the improv troupe at CBGB’s in the 90’s.

He soon transitioned into IT, but never forgot his love for the arts, and over the course of the last 20 years has written a dozen screenplays, optioning two and producing three others.

His movie “Missed” won Best Narrative Short at the Garden State Film Festival and has found its true following in the LGBTQ+ community.

His movie “Swung” won the Lou Costello Award for Best Comedy Short at the Garden State Film Festival and is currently in the process of being adapted into a television series.

Armonaitis directorial debut, “Be Home Soon” had its world premiere at the Garden State Film Festival in 2019.

A lifelong polymath, Armonaitis has mixes his thoughts and views on politics, interpersonal relations, technology into his creative work in hopes that his message can make a difference in people's lives.
