BIO: Having just more than half a century behind me, but still looking around the world with child-like awe, I wrote a book series to help our little ones become great bosses of their actions, thoughts, words, and bodies.

I’ve managed a band and toured the US & Europe in my 20’s. I’ve done large scale event planning for festivals in NYC, the Smithsonian in Washington, DC, and events in Seattle. I’ve been the Executive Director for an NFL foundation and spent half a decade+ fundraising for national non-profits.

Why I wrote this series:

I wrote this book with my, at that time, 7 year-old son when he came home – again – with a note from his teacher saying he had another “outburst” in class. (This time it was calling the teacher a liar in front of the whole class…) I asked him why this

kept happening and he said, “It’s not MY fault, Mommy. My MOUTH did it!”

I said, “Well you need to be a better Boss of your mouth…” And an idea, philosophy, book series, and more was started!

The 3 main themes are – Personal, Accountability/Responsibility - Diversity/Inclusiveness & - Personal Safety/Body Autonomy. All are BIG issues that our little ones need to learn as early as possible in their lives.
