Since information is so abundant nowadays you should be using college to ask questions and challenge previously held assumptions. Don't take the easy route by just learning what you need to pass the exam or class.\\n Master the basics. As a financial professional you have to have your basics. So principles of accounting, economics and finance are crucial. \\n Social sciences are huge. This career is becoming more about the softer side as consumers realize they can have their investment choices automated and their budgets crunched. Helping a person understand why those things need to be done and what happens if they're not is the important skill. And for that you need high EQ and to be a good listener.\\nThanks for listening.\\nFor more information on what I'm doing for current and aspiring financial professionals, click here.\\nWant to connect with me?
