CRIME:The Wrongful Conviction of Levon Brooks & Kennedy Brewer
This week we will be talking about the crimes that were committed against Courtney Smith Brooks & Christine Jackson. These heinous crimes lead to the wrongful conviction of Levon Brooks & Kennedy Brewer. Both of these men from the same town in Mississippi, both accused of rape and murder, sat in prison for over 15 years for crimes they did not commit. They sought justice with the help of the Innocence Project. We will be getting into the crimes, the convictions and the freedom that these men were owed.
