Renee's guest is Pikeville, Kentucky native Walter Gilliam, director of the Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy and associate professor of Child Psychiatry and Psychology at the Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Gilliam has done extensive research in early childhood education and intervention policy analysis and talks about his research on implicit bias among preschool educators. He was recently a keynote speaker at Kentucky's 2017 Early Childhood Institute conference in Louisville.
