The Apostle Peter speaking the words of the Prophet Joel reminds us, \\u201cThis promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away\\u2014all who have been called by the Lord our God.\\u201d If God had a gift for you to receive, why would you not want to receive it? Get rid of your preconceived ideas or expectations on what it will look, or feel like. You receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit the same way you accepted salvation in Jesus Christ. In faith, receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord to baptize you in the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will come upon you as it did the early disciples.'
