God has set in place the various authorities in our life. Our obedience to authority God has placed in our life whether they are a nation, parents, people, or spiritual authority is an act of obedience and service to God. Submitting to authorities in our life leads to us avoiding punishment, and having a clear conscience. What we give we can expect in return. So, as a Christian we give honor and live honorably. When we do, it pleases God our Savior.
