Yet, apart from Christ we ALL are shameful. Our tendency is to lessen the absolute grossness of sin. Our sin is putrid, poisonous, and deadly. But, as a Christian, as Paul said, we \\u201cthrow off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God\\u2014truly righteous and holy.\\u201d This change every believer experiences, living in Christ, leads us to practice our faith and live differently than the rest of the world.'
