We are increasingly aware of the reach of suicide. You may know someone personally who ended their life too short, thought about it yourself or even attempted it in the past. Be encouraged you have a reason to live. Choose life. Your thoughts and feelings are fleeting but your faith is forever. God cares for you and wants you to live with Him and for Him. Speaking plainly, suicide is sin. Suicide hurts others not just the one who wants to kill themselves. Most people don’t want to kill themselves they just want to end the pain they feel. But, suicide is a permanent, irreversible solution to a temporary, momentary circumstance. Suicide is never the answer. There is HOPE. It is found in God, Jesus Christ His son, and the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. He helps you in your weaknesses, and causes everything to work together for the good of those who believe in Him. Give all your cares and worries to God, for He cares about you.
