Shavuot: Working for the Harvest - English and Spanish
One of the reasons we observe Shavuot is to remember the joyous celebration of the wheat harvest in ancient Israel. It is the day on which we prayed for a blessing on our harvest. Although most of us do not have crops to harvest, the Scripture gives us lessons on how we can increase the joy of the feast.
Una de las razones por las que celebramos Shavuot es para recordar la alegre celebración de la cosecha de trigo en el antiguo Israel. Es el día en el que rezamos para que se bendiga nuestra cosecha.
