ADVENT 3
The Advent season in the Church calendar is a yearly celebration of Jesus' birth, a reminder to prepare our hearts for the return of Jesus and renewal of all things, and a time to cultivate the indwelling of Jesus in our hearts. This is a time of worship when we focus on the context of Jesus' earthly life. We worship through submission, service and reverence. Lots of traditions and shopping and holiday events can distract us from paying full attention to Jesus. Does the way we spend our time and money and thinking reflect true worship of Jesus?
Christmas begins and ends with Jesus.
