Romans 7:15-25; Psalm 119:9-16
For I do not understand my own actions.
For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.

With my whole heart I seek you;
    let me not wander from your commandments!
 I have stored up your word in my heart,
    that I might not sin against you.

The dogs on Trash Island needed to be rescued. One of the dogs would require a special kind of rescue. If this is your first Wes Anderson film, you need to know that all of his films are a tragedy in some form or another. Isle of Dogs is no different. It is a big screen meditation on the transformation one one single creature by the love of another. There is so much more going on in the film, but at the end of the day, it's a story about the love between a boy and his dog. Join us as we look at this kind of love while giving all of our praise and worship to Christ our King.
