Joshua 7:1-26
And Achan answered Joshua, "Truly I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and this is what I did: when I saw among the spoil a beautiful cloak from Shinar, and 200 shekels of silver, and a bar of gold weighing 50 shekel
s, then I coveted them and took them. And see, they are hidden in the earth inside my tent, with the silver underneath."

There are some sins and patterns of thought that go undetected and are socially acceptable in our world. Jealousy, envy, and covetousness pretty much run the internet. From what we buy, to who we love, there is no doubt that envy plays a part. In the story of Achan there is a discontent that leads to a horrible situation for all of Israel - the greed of one person affected the entire nation. Join us as we take a serious look at a God who has given us all we need and to grow in contentment.
