Isaiah 25:1-9
For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall, like heat in a dry place.
Jesus said, "In this life, you will have troubles, but take heart, I have overcome the world." Blood on the Tracks is an album of loss and heartache. It's the feeling we all have in this world where we experience trouble. So how can we take heart? How do we anchor our loves and joys to the kingdom of God in this new year?
